Who we are

Vizirune is operated by VXZ SYSTEMS LIMITED, company number C 103537, of International House, Mdina Road, Mriehel, Birkirkara BKR 3000, Malta. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact us at hello@vizirune.com.

This policy covers the Vizirune website, gameplay analysis services and integrations with ChatGPT and other compatible clients.

Data we collect

• Account data. When you sign in with Discord, we receive your Discord user ID, username and verified email address. We use these details to manage your account and contact you about the service. We do not receive your Discord password or access your messages, friends or servers.
• Connection and usage data. We process authentication records, connected-client details, service requests and usage records to manage access and operate the service.
• Gameplay data. We obtain match information and replays from public sources, game-data providers and requests submitted through the service. This can include player names, account identifiers and gameplay statistics. Publicly available information may still be personal data when it relates to an identifiable player.
• Technical and website usage data. We and our service providers process IP addresses, browser information, request times, security and error logs, and website usage measurements. We use self-hosted analytics to understand how people use the website.
• Support data. We receive your email address and whatever information you include when you contact us.

Vizirune receives tool requests from your connected client and returns results to it. It does not receive your entire ChatGPT conversation unless that content is included in a tool request. Avoid putting sensitive information in tool requests or support messages.

Why we use your data

• We use account, connection and request data to authenticate you and provide the services you request. The legal basis is performance of our contract with you.
• We process publicly available gameplay data, including information about other match participants, for match analysis and coaching. We rely on our legitimate interest in providing these services, balanced against the rights and reasonable expectations of the people concerned.
• We use usage records, technical logs and aggregate analytics to enforce allowances, prevent abuse, diagnose failures and improve reliability. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running and protecting the service.
• We use your contact details for requested support and necessary service messages. The legal basis is performance of our contract or our legitimate interest in customer support, depending on the request.
• We may retain or disclose records to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data or use it for targeted advertising.

Who receives data

We disclose the data needed to provide and protect the service:

• Your connected client. ChatGPT, or another client you choose, receives the results you request, which may include player identifiers and gameplay data. Your client's own privacy policy and data controls apply to its handling of requests and results.
• Other Vizirune users. Match information and gameplay analysis may be available to other users of the service. We do not share your Discord account profile, email address or authentication credentials through gameplay results.
• Discord. Discord authenticates you and provides the account details you authorise us to receive.
• Game-data providers. Valve and providers such as OpenDota receive the player or match identifiers needed to retrieve public match information and replay files.
• Service providers. We use providers for hosting, storage, computing, security and communications. Our current infrastructure providers include Hetzner, Scaleway and Cloudflare. They process the data needed to perform those services. We also use self-hosted monitoring and analytics systems.

We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights or respond to a security incident. We do not give data providers your Discord email address to look up matches.

International transfers

Our service uses European hosting and providers that operate globally. Cloudflare, Discord, your connected client and other providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers must use appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.

How long we keep data

We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. We determine retention by the type of data, its continued usefulness for the service, our relationship with you, security needs and applicable legal obligations.

• Account and connection data. We retain these records as needed to maintain your account and access, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. Disconnecting an integration does not automatically delete your account.
• Gameplay and service usage data. We retain these records as needed to provide, maintain and improve gameplay analysis, reuse match information and manage service usage. Retention may vary with the data's relevance, source availability and storage requirements.
• Support and operational records. We retain these records as needed to answer requests, investigate incidents, protect the service and meet legal obligations.

When personal data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. Residual copies may remain temporarily in routinely rotated backups. We may retain statistics that no longer identify anyone.

Cookies and your controls

Vizirune uses strictly necessary cookies for authentication and security. Our self-hosted analytics does not use analytics or advertising cookies.

You can disconnect Vizirune in ChatGPT or your other client's settings and remove the Vizirune authorisation in Discord's authorised-app settings. To delete your Vizirune account and associated personal records, email hello@vizirune.com. Deleting your account does not automatically erase public match data about other participants or copies already returned to a connected client. If replay data identifies you, contact us so we can assess your request.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Email hello@vizirune.com to exercise your rights. We may need to verify your identity.

You may complain to Malta's Information and Data Protection Commissioner at idpc.org.mt, or to the data protection authority where you live.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service or our legal obligations change. We will publish the revised policy here, update the date above and give additional notice where a change materially affects your rights.
